The premise of two soldiers, one Irish and the other German, meeting in the midst of a mysterious fog and choosing peace over continued conflict is intriguing.

 

This scenario creates an opportunity to explore themes of humanity, empathy, and the universal desire for peace, even in the midst of war.

The Lady on the hill

Wexford County Council awards funding for the production of 'The Lady on the Hill' written by Hannah McNiven. The film is Produced by Edwina Forkin (Zanzibar Films) Liam Beatty and directed by Brian Rossney.

'The Lady on the Hill' was shot on the Carlow Wexford Border in April of this year and the Director of Photography was Ciaran Kavanagh.

Post-Production was completed in late June of this year.
